* This outfitter offers hunts that require the hunter to draw a permit as well as hunts where a tag can simply be purchased.

* This outfitter operates on 3 of the top Utah elk units. The Plateau Boulder is famous for producing trophy quality bulls. The Wasatch Mountains offer more tags than any other unit while still producing great quality and the Book Cliffs units (Bitter Creek and Little Creek) are vast and remote areas in eastern Utah.

* Though not required in all cases, horses are typically available on these hunts. The Book Cliffs Little Creek (roadless) area does require horses to access.

* Over the counter general season tags are available in the Book Cliffs units and the Uintas. The Book Cliffs are for spike only while the Uintas are for any bull.

* Camp consists of cabin tents with wood burning stoves. All hunts are fully outfitted including food, lodging, transportation and trophy care. Airport pick-up can usually be arranged if necessary.

* Utah offers a large number of conservation tags each year. These tags are sold at auction and will run from $6,000 to over $20,000 for the units this outfitter operates. They will attend the auction and bid on the tag for you. Purchasing a conservation tag does not include the guide fees.

* Antlerless hunts take place on many different units around the state and typically require that the tag be drawn.
