Utah Late Season Cow Elk

* This hunt takes place on a large private ranch in the famed Book Cliffs of eastern Utah. Large populations of elk winter on and around this ranch.

* The ranch consists of 6000 acres. Hay fields hold the elk in the area and hunters are allowed to hunt a 1 mile buffer around the ranch as well. This has historically been a high success hunt.

* This is a guided hunt. In the early part of the season (August to October), hunters will stay in a camp on or near the ranch and meals are included. Later in the season (late October through January) hunters will stay in a hotel in Vernal, Utah. The hotel and meals are the hunters responsibility for the later hunts.

* Most hunts are booked for late August and early September or in early October but they can be booked for dates any time from late August through January. A landowner voucher is included in the price of this hunt so no drawing is required.
