* Tags for this hunt do not require a drawing and can be purchased over the counter.

* This hunt is based out of Ketchikan Alaska. This part of the state boasts some of the largest goats in the country and also one of the densest goat populations as well.

* Hunters will fly into Ketchikan where they will be met by the outfitter. After purchasing tags and licenses, a float plane will be use to access one of the many alpine lakes in the Misty Fjords National Monument.

* A base camp is typically established near the drop-off lake and spike camps are set at higher elevations with easier access to the goats. This eliminates the need to ascend 1,000 to 3,000 vertical feet more than once..

* All meals, lodging guide and trophy care is included in the cost of this hunt.
