At HuntersTrailhead, our desire is to be the number one hunting research resource for the big game hunter. The drawing odds database is a powerful tool that is utilized by tens of thousands of hunters each year, but we are now offering some expanded research tools to those hunters wanting a deeper understanding of the permits and areas they are considering applying for.

For a $50 annual membership, our members gain access to our Projected Odds* database. These projections are based on years of application history and trending analysis. Each unit and hunt option is meticulously analyzed and the drawing odds for the coming year are projected. Once a member is signed in, these projected odds become a standard part of the unit drawing odds detail pages. But that is not all. A new Hunt Filter System has been added to allow HuntersTrailhead Members to filter the database of each state to include only hunts that meet their filtration criteria. This filter is based on the projected drawing odds for the coming year or the hunter success rates from previous years. Additional filter features will be added to this system in time.

HuntersTrailhead Members also gain access to herd population trending, hunter success rate trending and past hunter contacts**. Additional benefits include a one year subscription to one of two hunting magazines, one of three hunting DVDs and discounts on purchases made in the HuntersTrailhead online store. Hunt Availability Notifications	We work with many outfitters and landowners throughout the western states. Many of these operators contact HuntersTrailhead when they have a hunt opening, landowner tag or voucher available. By becoming a HuntersTrailhead member, you will recieve priority notification about these opportunities. When setting up your membership, you will be asked what species and states you are interested in. When a hunt that meets your interests becomes available, you will receive a notice detailing the opportunity.

*Projected Odds - These projections are based on historical trending and other statistical calculations and can not account for unexpected shifts in the number of applicants and/or permit numbers.

**Past Hunter Contacts - Not every unit in our database have past hunter contacts. However, this list is growing. To prevent abuse, our system will monitor who accesses each unit list and when that access was made. Anyone found to be abusing this system will have their HuntersTrailhead membership terminated with no refund. Abuse includes but is not limited to crank or harrassing phone calls, sending of spam mail, posting of this information on any other website, etc. Where necessary, legal action may be taken.
